Happy Reformation Day! LOL! I'm sorry, Gregory. I just couldn't help myself. Take it in the liberal spirit of fun it was meant to be.
Love you, bud! :p I'll take it off the site soon.

I think it's funny!
I definitely think it's funny, Chris! No worries at all.
Interestingly enough, I just read the 95 Theses the other day, and was amazed at the fact that there really isn't all that much to disagree with.
If only things had been handled differently from the get-go, all of this may never have happened, eh?
Gregory,
I feel very much the same way. It is regretable that so much stupidity happened on both sides of the fight. It is regretable that there was a fight at all.
I think I'll write something about it for our blog. Something more sensitive. Once you're done your series, however.
Hidden One,
Umm, wha?
Of course, to return the humour, I could counter by calling it "The Scariest Thing Ever To Happen on Halloween" ;)
Yes, you're right, Gregory: Catholics disagreeing with each other in 1517 was pretty scary. Especially when they go to such lengths as to initiate formal debates with each other through customary academic measures, like nailing theses to noble doors. I bet you it would've been even scarier if Luther had, say, used the backside of a papal bull, and then when questioned would've responded, "What? It's Halloween. I was just giving the bull a disguise, and letting it knock on a door."
;)
"Hidden One,
Umm, wha?"
Put off Trent forever less a day.
